Adventures In Babysitting!

OK I wouldn't really count it as 'babysitting' but I love that movie so I had to use that title! Yesterday I picked up both Channing and her friend Kingston from school. Kingston's rents had some plans and asked if we could watch him for the evening. We had the BEST time. They kiddos were so good and seemed to have so much fun together for the most part. There may have been a few mean streaks that came out in Channing... I guess protecting her territory but as soon as I would correct her she would go hug Kingston. It was really a lot of fun!




In the car ready to go home. Channing was pumped and Kingston was not sure what to think at first.... then they started laughing and playing and immitating each other. It was such a fun ride home.




Happy kiddo in the bath! I didn't get any pictures of dinner... they both had annies pasta o's and yogurt and cookies for dessert. Chandler was mowing the lawn so my hands were full but I wish I had a picture because both of them were a mess by the time we were done!

What is my GOOFY girl doing here? She had her hair in piggies today and when I took them out she looked like BOZO the clown hahahahaha and that face she is making... where does she get this stuff? Her dad??




Eating bath toys is so fun apparently!

All dressed and clean and ready for bed watching Elmo! EXCEPT Channing missed the whole 'night time is a time for sleeping' memo last night! Holy schnikees! She was up no joke from 2am to 4am NONE STOP! Yikes I am tired today but it is Friday so its all good!!!!

Today they had to take an animal to school to put on Noah's Ark. She chose her Brittany Spaniel 'puppy' and carried it all the way to her class by herself this morning. It was really really cute!!!!

It's OK Thursday

*Its ok that they old man at Starbucks that asked me, 'why do you look so cute today?' made my day
*That I was going to watch the Rangers in game 1 but decided I would rather catch on on my shows on DVR with a glass of wine or two instead
*That I colored my hair last night and it made me super happy
*That I love the cooler weather... I think most people do
*That I am looking forward to my hubby's 30th birthday stuff and can't wait to give him his present!

*The cooler weather and open roof in my car prompted me to take a picture of how cool it really was at 4:30 PM! YAY FINALLY!




*Channing girl this morning... today started the Halloween outfit marathon.... Stay tuned she is gonna looke CUTE!




*My freshly colored hair... I like taking pictures of myself... and THATS OK TOO! Just ask my best friends... its an art I tell ya!

We Love The Old School Brotha!

Well, lets face it... we all know I am not the biggest sports nut or a great authority on many things 'sportsy' but it IS exciting when one of your home teams does well! Today was spirit day at Channing's school to support the boys in red/blue in their attempt to win the World Series! I think I may even throw them a bone and lend some support tonight by watching the game with Chandler with a glass of wine. But, one thing is certain.... I love Ron Washington... he makes me laugh and is so happy for his team!

Yesterday was the FIRST cool weather morning we have had this season! Channing looked so cute in her sock monkey beannie!

And since she didnt want to wake up this morning because she may or may not have gone to bed late last night... this is the best picture i could muster up this morning. She was all ready for Ranger day whether she liked it or not!

Dylan Paige

She is here and healthy! My friend Chelsea had her baby after over 100 days on bed rest at the hospital! Dylan Paige is a doll and healthy as ever! Praise God!

She weighed 6lbs 10oz and I couldn't be more proud of Chels!

Chandler and I did our 6 mile run at White Rock Sunday while Grammie & Poppa Scott played with C! (Thank you!) AND here was our time. Since it was way hotter than we expected (in the 90's) we were proud of our time!


Happy Monday Peeps! Today one of my best friends has her baby... you know the one that was on bed rest at the hospital for about 20 weeks.... Praise the Lord! Can't wait to hold and meet sweet Dylan Paige!!!
