Boo

Yesterday something happened that has never happened before...

We.Got.Boo'ed

Channing was beyond thrilled!!
We boo'ed our neighbors last week and I am guessing that it has made it full circle.
It was so funny when Channing grabbed the bucket though, she said, oh look my own bottle of wine!

Umm, NO! No wine will be your wine until you are of legal age my friend and until then ANY bottle of wine is Mommy's wine hahaha!

Lets just say we have amazing neighbors and a wonderful neighborhood!

Chandler had to go out of town for a few meetings so it was GIRLS NIGHT as Channing calls it. Every time we have a so called girls night we do something fun like make cookies or watch a movie in bed with ice cream. Last night we did cookies because I secretly needed to get a head start on Halloween treats for the upcoming holiday craziness this weekend!

Channing did a batch then we got her ready for bed. I did mine after she was in bed so I could actually try to make mine look like a kindergartener didn't do them.

We are on the home stretch of this week. Parties and CRAZY starts tomorrow! Channing is SO pumped this year for Halloween. If you hear screaming tomorrow it is because our 'ELSA' said she would scream if anybody else was Elsa.

Wait for it... wait for it!

Denver

This last weekend we went to Denver to celebrate the marriage of my brother to my now sister in law. It was the most beautiful weekend and honestly one of the best weddings we have been to. We had a blast the whole time and it really was such a heartfelt occasion.

This was also Channings very first time to fly and she not only loved it but did amazing the whole time. She is a great traveler and was over the moon about seeing her awesome cousin Judah!

Baking cupcakes with her cousin for the kiddos at the wedding reception.

They had matching swimsuits and Channing thought that was probably the best thing EVER!

The beautiful couple!!

The reception was at a local brewery. Still very classy and beautiful and VERY VERY fun!

They even had their own 'wedding' beer!

Miss thang fell asleep for a bit at the reception. Partied a little too hard.

My brothers and I

Channing chased around their two dogs forever at the reception. Thank goodness they seem to be very sweet and patient pups.

We flew Frontier, which we will never do again, but Monday was a long day of flights for us but Channing did so well... except for the time she refused to share Cheez-Its with me and feed them to her dog.

I love love love this picture! My brother and SIL's photographer wanted to try a picture with us before he tried it with the newlyweds and this was the result! Def getting a canvas of this. I just love it!!

Again it was the best weekend. I love seeing my brother so happy and in love. I love being around my whole family together, which doesn't happen that often. I am excited to see what their new chapter holds!!

Lately

I am trying to catch up a little. I have taken more on at work, which has been a great move for me but it has also left little time to update the blog. So this is my feeble attempt to catch up. There is really just a lot of pictures of Channing but that's all anybody really cares about anyway right? Ha ha ha.

Her vocabulary, smarts and wit continue to surprise us every day and make us laugh all the time. She continues to be VERY strong willed (I have NO idea where she gets that!) but very very sweet at the same time!

She picked out the outfit below for school pictures along with my necklace to go with it. Her eyes were acting up that day and I asked them to let her take her pictures with her sunglasses on. Of course when I got the proofs the other day she has them off and has her eyes half closed in all of them.

Last weekend I went on a moms trip to Canyon Lake and had the best time. We went to Gruene Saturday night for a concert and had a blast. Such a fun weekend with the girls!

Apparently that (below) is a tumbleweed. I have lived in Texas my whole life and have not seen one of these.

The deer there were insane. They would walk right up to you and eat right out of your hands. They were so cute and sweet and it was such a fun experience.

I was so excited to hang out with this little Pirate when I got home. She even let me be her first mate.

AND that brings me to FALL! One of the most wonderful times of the year. I am now hoping that October brings cooler weather!
