Cough

So we started this weekend with Channing getting over some allergies turned into cold slash cough and myself getting sick with said cold slash cough. I felt pretty terrible when all the medicine I was taking would wear off but we made it... I have a raspy voice now but hopefully will feel lots better very soon.

Channing had picture day Friday at WRN and I asked her to show me how she was going to smile...
awesome

She picked out her dress for pictures though!

Saturday morning we went to Eloise's birthday party at the park. It was in the morning and was so cute... Donuts and milk and crafts and well... the park. Doesn't get much better than that to 3-4 year olds! Channing plays soccer with Eloise and starting to make more friends in our new hood of Lake Highlands... I really need to get involved in more play dates but we are working on that. I just joined the ECPTA so I am hoping that will help both of us.

Sunday we switched the guest room and Channing's room. She needed the bigger room and so we spent most of the day doing that. We ALL needed a little break Sunday afternoon so we made some chalk paint and tried a new local beverage.

So I realized I need to take more pictures... with our real camera and not just my phone...

A Few Things...

So not too much to update right now...

I started making a few additions to our house... stilllllll working on it 7 months later and now we have decided to switch Channing's room. That is coming this weekend so I will try to post pics when that is done.

That planter box was made by the hubs out of a pallet and succulents are going to be planted in there... soon...

I received a new Voxbox and I am excited to test everything out. The Ponds BB Cream is awesome and we already know Channy Lou loves Amy's!

We spent most of our weekend like this... Poor girl has a cold and allergies and it just knocked her out this weekend.

Sneak Peak of a party dress I ordered! FUN!

Weekend Update

These pics are in reverse order for some reason but I am going with it because that's how I roll on a Monday morning.

We are enjoying having some of our best friends move down the street from us. Exactly one mile and they have a pool! I mean... nothing much better than that!

We ate dinner with the three out of three nights this weekend haha AND met them at 'Good to Go Taco' Sunday morning. Danielle and I showed up in the same outfit actually... totally random but funny and picture worthy!

Channing is pretty much a pro at soccer now after a few weeks! Her team is so cute and she is really getting the hang of it.

The picture is blurry for some reason but this is the crowd that came to cheer her on this week! That girl is surely loved!

A little pre-game pep talk...
Channing is in the middle.

Pre-game stretching!

And last but actually first.... Saturday morning Danielle and I went to a 'Chicken Class' at Gecko Hardware. It was such an informative class and I am now more than ever excited about getting Chickens in the near future!

So This One Time...

I pretended to be a model...

In all seriousness I was asked by our very favorite photographer Katie Norris to model some camera straps for her amazing company 'Fotostrap'

I was honored to say the least and it was SO much fun to do. I felt like a real model on that hot 100 degree day dressing for the 'fall look'! Also, because one of the girls WAS actually a model in NY and was like 5'9 and model like!

Please take some time and read some more about her company that does SO much for others!

Shake Shake Shake

Oh my goodness y'all.

Have you tried these Dole Fruit Shakers yet?

Seriously I love them! So easy and perfect for me on the go in the mornings during the week when I am running (literally) out the door to get Channing to school and myself to work!

They taste fresh and crisp! I mix mine with some grapefruit juice but they have other suggestions on the bottle.

The 'Peach Mango' is my fave but the Strawberry Banana is really great too!

The only sad part is that I cannot find them at SAMs or Costco so I have to keep buying them individually at Target...

Anyhow if you need a quick healthy on the go suggestion here ya go!

(not paid or anything just love them)
