One Of THOSE Mornings!

Well.... This morning was one of THOSE mornings. A VERY stressful morning. Channing woke up VERY early. Had a breakdown and just stood in the door of the bathroom looking at me bawling. Lets just say she had a MAJOR diaper. These kind of mornings make it VERY hard for me to get ready on time because I have a sweet little one tugging at my legs, wanting to be picked up or just crying because she got up TOO EARLY and is super tired right around the time I NEED to hurry and get ready. All I really want to do on these mornings is be able to sit with her and calm her down and love on her. I did pick her up this morning and just rock her... she fell asleep on me and that NEVER happens anymore... it took everything inside of me to not call into work and just sit there until she woke up so I could hold her. I hate mornings like this... I feel like I have failed a little as a mom because I get rushed and frustrated because Channing is fussy and doesnt understand that we are on a timeline and need to get out of the house at a certain time. I don't always get to take the time to comfort her. Thankfully I know this is just a bump in the road of this week but it has made me sad this morning. Channing was able to cat nap in her crib until I got ready this morning. She was MUCH happier after that and she smiled on the way to school... that smile just makes me melt. Thankfully I know that God has already taken care of everything for today and that does give me comfort. It is just that I seem to forget that in times like this morning.

I am too blessed to be stressed... This is TRUE!

This morning... I totally forgot to be awesome.

Weekend Wrap up!

This weekend started with a low key Friday night. We cooked out and relaxed! Saturday morning we headed to Dallas to go to Grammie and Papa Scott's house for breakfast. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the spread. Just take my word for it... It was delish! Right after that we ran out to Ft Worth to visit the Diviney's and sweet baby Sloan! We loved visiting and spending time with that sweet family! Shelby looks AWESOME and is just glowing as a new momma! Love them!

Sloan checking out the world around her! She is so tiny and such a sweet little peanut!

My sweet girl!

Just hanging out with her daddy!

Shelby got out a basket of coozies for Channing and that was by far her fave toy of the day!!

Later on that evening Channing swiped Chandler's Oreo from him. She walked ALL over the house with it like we were going to take it away from her... She has become quite the theif with snacks.

Who me? I didn't take Daddy's Oreo!!

Then we had some after dinner pre-bath fun with a popsicle! Channing LOVES them but they are messy in the house and lets be honest... it is TOO HOT to go outside with it...It would melt faster than she could eat it! PS... yes, she is wearing pool booties in the bathtub... insists on it...

Sweet angel and her daddy!

Sunday I, along with three other wonderful girls hosted a baby shower for my friend Chelsea and her baby girl to come in the hospital. She has been on bedrest at the hospital since she was 17 weeks along. She has spent ten weeks there already and hopefully 9 more until that baby girl is good to go! It was an awesome shower! Pictures to come! Please keep Chelsea and her family in your prayers. Pregnancy comes with a lot of worry so please pray for peace for them and a healthy baby girl in the end!!

LOVE THIS POST

"I find beauty in not only the beautiful things in life, but the bittersweet and sad as well. To me, there is something poignantly lovely about the human experience from its splendor to its grief. God created all our emotions, not just the happy ones, and for His good purposes. That's why a good cry can feel so good. And hitting our limits forces us to look outside ourselves for a Savior. It is in the plea, when we're at our end, that we can find that which is truly life-giving. Personally, my moments of deepest grief, deepest pain, have resulted in the most beautiful seasons in my heart. I've met God more intimately in those moments than in all the other pleasant ones combined. What isn't completely lovely about that?"

Today I was reading blogs and came across this on The Wiegand's Blog. This girl is a pretty amazing artist, cute momma & someone who I just find interesting. I really LOVED this post and the qoute she posted. Please read and find inspiration!

Not My Idea Of Fun

This is absolutely NOT my idea of GREAT weather. I have lived in Texas for all of my 28 years and I have NEVER been this hot. Good grief! To top it off we started training last week of all weeks fr a half marathon in December. Great timing!! At 7:30 last night it was still over 100 when I went to go run and then sun was already going down a little bit. I have NEVER said this before but I CANT WAIT FOR COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON... because it brings cooler weather. My hubby says I am excited for College Game Day on Saturday Mornings...He's wrong!

Latisse!

I just started using LATISSE! My madre gave it to me in my birthday bag and I can't wait to see the results! I started using it last night and tonight i will try to take my week 1 picture and post it every week so you guys can see the progress of my lucious lashes with me! I know you simply can't wait!!

Here is a little information on Latisse:

There’s been a growing interest in this product ever since it was introduced. And it’s no wonder. LATISSE® is the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker. Discover the LATISSE® difference.
LATISSE® solution is a growth treatment for lashes. In fact, it’s the only FDA-approved treatment clinically proven to grow lashes. And it’s the only lash growth product of its kind available by prescription. So you’ll need to talk to your doctor to see if it’s right for you. LATISSE® grows lashes longer, fuller and darker.
LATISSE® solution is a once-nightly treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes, as instructed by your doctor. Then, gradually, the results come in. You may start to see more length in as little as 4 weeks and you should achieve full growth in 16 weeks. It’s not an illusion of growth. It’s real lash growth. How LATISSE® works.
LATISSE® makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient: bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is unknown, LATISSE® is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase, and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The history behind LATISSE®.
LATISSE® was created by Allergan, a pharmaceutical leader with 60 years of eye care expertise. In 2001, Allergan developed a medicated eye drop to treat elevated intraocular pressure. Many patients using this medication also began to grow longer, fuller and darker lashes as a side effect. This led Allergan to study the medication's active ingredient, bimatoprost, specifically for growing lashes. After a clinical trial, LATISSE® was approved by the FDA in December of 2008.

* I have NOT been paid by Latisse or asked by them to do this. I just wanted to because I think its NEAT!*

Totally Cute Tuesday!
