Sprinkle!



This weekend was full and busy but oh so much fun!

 

We had our first out of town visitors in the new house! Ife and Bari came in from Houston and The Gallway's came in from Abilene! Channing was SO pumped that Ty was there to play! She became the needy girl on Saturday morning asking Ty to help her put her shoes on hahaha OH NO!

She insisted she didn't need a nap Saturday and once we got in thecar to run to a store she was out!

 

She just idn't want to miss any of the action!

Shelby and Sloan drove over from Ft Worth to meet us for dinner at Meso Maya! Channing also LOVES Sloan and talks about her all the time!

And thanks to Bari and Ife Channing has little Havaianas!

They are SO stinking cute!

Both Shelby and Tami are having their second babies in about 6 weeks and both ar having boys so we hosted a baby sprinkle for them! It was lots of fun and we had a great crowd! Oh how I just love the tiny baby things! Makes me sad though to see how fast our kiddos have grown already!

Ty and Channing PLAYED AND PLAYED AND PLAYED!

 They ran back and forth in the backyard for a while and then we looked out to check on them and they had got the pooper scooper out and were working as a team picking up dog poo... GREAT!

 

Channing's dress went straight to the laundry room to be treated and washed.... TWICE haha.

 

Wow.... something I thought I wouldn't ever say... 'Hey guys, stop scooping poop'!



After everyone left and post poo scooping Channing sat on the couch to watch some TV and relax... she was falling asleep sitting up and I asked her if she wanted a pillow and a blanket to lay down and she said 'NO, IM NOT TIRED'!

Oh really sweet girl... this is how I found her a few minutes later.... she fell over like this so I just covered her up and let her sleep! 

Keridon and Brielle also came in for the sprinkle this weekend! We love this pic because she is already taller than me and was wearing heels and I was wearing flats.... too funny!

And believe it or not but after all the craziness I got a great nights sleep and feel reasted this morning!

  I do have a few prayer requests.   - a very sweet friend with cancer just needs prayers for peace and comfort. his family and fiance as well. - one of my best friends mom and cousin who's car was hit by a drunk driver last night (they are ok but very bruised and banged up... the car is totaled.) - Channing has a lump on the back of one of her knees. Hoping it is a cyst but taking her into the doctor today just to check it out...   Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
