3rd Annual Scarf Swap!!!

I participated in Meredith's Scarf Swap again this year. It is always so fun and something I have really started to look forward to! I love shopping for the perfect scarf that I think my swap partner will love. Well, this year I got partnered with the absolutely FAB Britney Miskell! Here is her CUTE family of four! (I hope she doesn't mind that I 'borrowed' this from her FB! Look what a pretty family they are!

We exchanged emails.became friends on FB.now follow each other on Pinterest & read each other's blogs! We have so much in common! We have even decided that the next time either person passes thru (Dallas or Houston) that we have to stop and grab a glass (or TWO) of wine. We just know we would be real life friends! I mean she has an English Bulldog and a Yorkie and I have an English Bulldog and a Maltese... what are the odds!! It has been so fun to kind of check out the blog and Pinterest and try to decide on the perfect scarf for her!

Here is what I decided on for Britney! A gray scarf with her monogram in orange. It seemed classic and cute and perfect for fall! I saw the cute napkins and since we both love some wine I thought they had to go too!

It was so much fun to send and see what she thought!

It was so funny because the Friday afternoon that I sent her scarf I posted on FB that I was going to FedEx! She said she had just left from mailing mine... great minds I tell ya!

AND this is what I got! It is PERFECT for me and I LOVE it! I hope you can see the pretty pretty detail on it! Lace.Gray.Leopard... LOVE! Does she know me or what! I could hardly wait to share it!

She not only sent me a FAB scarf she wrote the nicest note too!

THATS NOT ALL!

She sent this ADORBS cooking apron for Channing! Anyone remember this?....
How cute and thoughtful is that! Channing loved it and wanted me to put it on her right away and I told Britney that I had to bribe her to take it off while we were playing outside! When she is older I can't wait to watch SATC and show her that she has THAT apron! SO FUN!

I have to say that this has been a PERF 'Scarf Swap' for me! It was so fun and so exciting to see what would come in the mail and to make a new friend in the process!
